Nyt on tialnne se, että Venäjälläpaineet kasvavat. Iskut ympäri Venäjää nostaa kansalaiset sotaa vastaa. Ne aiheuttavat odottamattomia vaikeuksia. Toisalta aktiivisimmat venäläiset vaativat sodan lopettamista ydinaseiden käytöää. Putiin pelkää oman asemansa puolesta ja pyrkii sitä turvaamaan lähiomaisten palkaamisella tuekseen. Venäläisten miestappiot ovat valtavat. Myös ukrainalaiset tappiot ovat suuret. Pokrovskin puolustus on äärettömän vaikeaa ukrainalaisille. Ukrainalaisten kärsimykset ovat valtavat mutta niin ovat venäläistenkin. Järjetön sota on saatava loppumaan, mutta siitä ei ole tietoakaan.
